Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent implementation of interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be at least 18 years old
